A little shout out to the fab team involved in location shoot .........

Last Sunday Love Yesterday hit the road and collaberated with the excellent photographer Gary MacLennan  for a location shoot in Cushion and Cake tearoom and Majestic Laundrette. Naturally we wanted a 50s type vibe and these two places fitted the bill. Cushion and cake is a little hidden treasure in Glasgows West End. The very kind owner Pamela let us take over her little haven for a couple of hours to shoot and even got involved herself. We all had the pleasure of sampling her delicious homebaking and my huge slice of chocolate orange cake was delish. Whilst up the west end the next couple of days I found an excuse to return and buy some more cake - 3 big yummy slices. Anyway get yourself along if you haven't already done so.  Majestic Laundrette proved to be equally as fun and who would have thought a little laundrette that so many people pass by day in day out could be such an impressive backdrop for a shoot.

Again the two very talented models I had the pleasure of working with in the studio shoot Nicole and Lauren got involved.  I loved watching these two little chameleons channel their 50s housewife characters in cake and cushion and then bring along a rock and roll vibe to majestic laundrette. These two girls are super talented, clearly beautiful and a real pleasure to work alongside.

Not only did we have Nicole and Lauren but we had a host of pretty ladies who took part in the shoot for the day. From day one Love Yesterday has been about providing glamourous and unique clothing for any lady that has a passion for the beautiful clothing of yesteryear, so I was happy I had an array of gorgeous girls and characters. Thanks to Clare, Laura, Pamela, Hanna and Camille for taking part, you all fitted in with character of the shoot brilliantly.

David Farqhar and Heather Mitchell done a fantastic job of all the girls hair and makeup and made them all look very pin-up. David also does college lecturing, body art, retro furniture restoration and even showed me his hilarious wonderwomen makeover (lol).   And talking of pin up girls we had the fabulous George Milne assisting in the shoot, helping Gary with photography but also striking some epic pin up poses as suggestions for the girls. We labelled him Miss J from Americas next top model for the day- what a hilarious guy, hes going to make a fantastic photographer.

I myself styled the girls and then made a guest appearance in a couple of the shots.

Heres some of my favourite shots from the day:

Thanks for everyones help and involvement in shoot- what a lovely bunch of people hope to work with you all again soon x
